Scotts® Turf Builder® with Moss Control is the solution for your moss problem. This lawn care product effectively kills moss while nourishing your lawn to help fill in bare spots and thicken the grass, ultimately eliminating moss as a problem.

The combination moss killer and grass fertilizer should be applied during the winter or spring when moss is actively growing. It can be used on most grass types and is best applied to a moist, mowed lawn to expose the low-growing moss.

To apply the product, use a Scotts® spreader. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, set the dial to 5 for the regular rate or 5 ¾ for the heavy rate. For Scotts® drop spreaders, set the dial to 8 for the regular rate or 8 ½ for the heavy rate.

After application, the grass blades may temporarily turn black, but this condition will disappear after mowing. It is recommended to wait 6 to 8 weeks between applications.

One 25 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® with Moss Control can cover up to 5,000 sq. ft. of your lawn. This lawn care product effectively kills moss without harming your lawn, and the added fertilizer helps thicken the grass to fill in bare spots.
